How We Manufacture Your Brass Parts
The manufacturing and post-production costs of different types of brass die-cast parts vary. Therefore, Elimold always adheres to a customer-centric approach when providing custom brass casting molds. We consider factors such as part size, order volume, precision requirements, appearance requirements, airtightness requirements, structural complexity, and the end use of the customer’s product. Based on these considerations, we recommend the most cost-effective and reasonable brass casting process to our customers. Furthermore, Elimold’s engineering team, drawing on years of design experience and mold flow analysis, designs sophisticated molds for brass sand casting, gravity die casting, and pressure die casting.
What is Brass Die Casting?
Die casting is a metal forming process in which molten brass alloy is injected into a steel mold under high pressure. This mold (also called a die blank) is designed to produce products with precise shapes and minimal variations between parts. After the molten metal cools and solidifies, the mold opens, and the finished brass part is ejected. This process allows manufacturers to produce fine and dimensionally accurate parts at high production rates. Compared to other methods, die casting offers excellent repeatability and efficiency.

Brass Die Casting Capabilities
Elimold offers high-pressure die casting and a range of other die casting processes. We utilize process monitoring, press-side imaging, robotics, permanent magnet molds, and mold maintenance solutions to extend mold life, shorten production cycles, reduce costs, and deliver high-quality die castings. From part design and prototyping to finished product assembly, we provide a unified platform offering all the integrated services you need, ensuring comprehensive support for your global manufacturing resources. Our custom die-cast brass products have short lead times, significantly reducing customer delivery times. We can manufacture die castings ranging in weight from a few ounces to hundreds of pounds.
Precision Engineering and Exceptional Durability
Every brass die-casting project we undertake is meticulously manufactured to achieve an exceptional 0.01 mm tolerance, crucial for high-performance brass castings. Combined with a hardness of 80-100 HRB and a highly polished surface, these castings deliver the necessary durability and smooth operation in harsh environments. Their robust construction ensures long-term reliability and efficiency in fluid control applications.
Brass Die Casting Capacity and Production Plant
Elimold provides a one-stop service for brass die casting to OEM across various industries, including casting, machining, and painting. Starting with 12,000 square feet of production space, the company has grown into a modern, efficient 70,000+ square foot facility. Despite its continued growth, one thing remains constant: our relentless pursuit of quality and innovation. Our in-house plant boasts 58 die casting machines ranging from 250 to 2000 tons, capable of producing brass parts of various sizes and weights, from a few grams to 20 kilograms, meeting both small and large-volume production needs. We can handle short-term orders ranging from 1 piece to 500,000 pieces per year.
Casting Equipment for Custom Brass Castings
Elimold’s brass foundry utilizes specialized brass casting equipment to produce high-quality castings. This equipment includes dedicated melting furnaces for heating the metal to the appropriate temperature and vibrating devices for removing finished castings from the sand molds. We use automated casting equipment at every stage of the brass casting process to minimize costs and reduce lead times. Automation, along with high-quality brass casting materials, enables us to produce consistently high-quality, defect-free parts.
Brass Alloy Thin-Wall Structural Component Casting
Our production team precisely controls melt quality, high vacuum levels, and intensified pressure to eliminate internal defects. This ensures pressure integrity, allows for T6 heat treatment, and meets the stringent strength-to-weight ratio and electromagnetic interference shielding standards for aerospace and high-end electronics products. Furthermore, we employ closed-cavity vacuum technology (cavity pressure <50 mbar) to achieve clean filling of thin walls (down to 1.0 mm). Multi-stage injection molding ensures laminar flow, followed immediately by high-pressure intensification (>800 bar) and pulsed mold cooling. The result is dense, fine-grained components with excellent mechanical properties and stability.

With Elimold’s comprehensive value-added services, you can trust us to provide integrated solutions that meet all your manufacturing needs.
Quality System and Compliance
Quality and reliable service are our top priorities. All brass castings are designed, engineered, manufactured, and tested to the highest standards. Throughout the manufacturing process, all castings undergo regular inspections, and their chemical composition is evaluated before casting to ensure the alloy composition meets requirements and customer specifications. Internal resources supporting our casting and inspection operations include:

Secondary Machining
In the manufacture of brass die-cast parts, secondary CNC machining is crucial. These precision machining processes include drilling, tapping, milling, and reaming. Secondary machining can refine dimensions, improve surface finish, and create more complex features on die-cast parts that are impossible to achieve during the casting process. This includes drilling holes to install fasteners, adding threaded screws, and more. CNC can also remove residual burrs or flash from castings, ensuring a satisfactory final part appearance and usability for assembly processes.
