Testing and Verification

We have many testing and verification standards in place to ensure the highest quality product every time. We have an independent weld verification room for destructive testing of spot and MIG welds, as well as non-destructive spot weld verification using RSWA Tessonics technology. In both processes, we report using standard teardown files so your team can easily understand our test results.
We also use dimensional measurement to measure parts and fixtures as large as a full BIW. Our white light scanning, blue light scanning, and dual arm CMMs measure every aspect of a part to ensure it meets your exact specifications. We utilize Polyworks and Data Page for reporting to ensure test results are easy to understand.
For special projects, such as drone battery housings and bottom shells, we have unique pressure testing equipment to test for leaks. This involves blowing pressurized air into the part to measure the leak decay. We do this for every battery box and bottom shell to verify it meets your standards. We then complete dimensional inspection using a CMM or laser scanning. Any parts that do not meet specifications are re-machined and re-tested.
We use world-class quality systems to ensure our processes deliver the best results. Our metallographic lab is used for R&D, hot stamping material testing, product validation and weld failure analysis. This microstructural analysis allows for very specific tensile strength and hardness testing. Our quality lab uses CMM programming, portable laser scanning and inspection devices to verify tight tolerances. We are also able to test welds in real time, ensuring fast time to market and the quality you expect.
