Sheet Metal Automation Equipment

Elimold has a full range of CO2 laser cutting machines capable of cutting prototypes and production parts. Therefore, any shape can be cut from the thinnest sheet to steel and aluminum sheets for a variety of applications with a thickness of 3/4 inch (20 mm). In most cases, laser cut parts do not require the customer to pay for tooling. High-powered lasers provide fast turnaround times. Elimold services are complemented by press brakes, stamping/forming and welding departments. Finally, Elimold’s laser cutting provides a low-cost alternative to stamping and enhances the metal manufacturing equipment range.
And we combine the equipment in the factory with automation systems to achieve unmanned loading and unloading of raw materials and finished parts. Turret punch presses provide all optimized part quality and processing flexibility. Therefore, the ability to provide cost-effective sheet metal solutions to OEMs is enhanced.
Advanced automation technology enables Elimold’s in-house sheet metal manufacturing plant dedicated to serving customers in the automation industry to operate 24/7. Mass production components can be quickly manufactured with the shortest delivery time. In addition, on-time delivery is essential for lean manufacturing. Highly advanced automation technology delivers the lowest part cost and highest yield. Strategic analysis reduces unnecessary steps in the workflow. This improves material utilization and reduces costs by eliminating direct labor from production.

Nondestructive Examination

As part of our end-to-end welding process, we perform Non Destructive Examinations (NDE) on our welded components to locate and determine any defects. Applying Visual Inspection (VT), our Level II and Level III NDE inspectors practice in accordance with SNT-TC-1A. With tools such as fillet gauges, magnifying glasses, tape measures, and calipers, inspectors can reveal spatter, excessive buildup, incomplete slag removal, cracks, heat distortion, undercutting, and poor penetration.

Benefits we can bring to our customers

  • Faster fabrication and shorter lead-times
  • Consistent on-time delivery, ensuring their own schedules can be met
  • Flexibility in production and order processing, allowing OEMs to switch product manufacturing without having a large inventory
  • Reduced inventory, resulting in freed up cash, freed up space, and reduced risk of inventory damage or obsolescence
  • Improved quality, which reduces total costs
  • Competitive pricing
